Cruise through Historic Amsterdam
Step aboard our small, open boat and let the beauty of our old city center’s waterways take you away. As we navigate through the charming canals, our friendly captain, also your guide, will share captivating stories about the historic architecture and vibrant past of the city. On this boat ride we’ll navigate through Amsterdam’s oldest part, famously known as the Red Light District. We’ll explore the eastern city center, cruising along the Geldersekade, passing the Nieuwmarkt and de Waag, and then glide through the charmingly small Kromboomsloot canal.
Discover the Eastern Docklands and Maritime Heritage
We’ll venture through the Eastern Docklands and harbor area, featuring the elegant replica VOC ship at the Maritime Museum and the striking modern architecture of Nemo.
Experience a little of the UNESCO Heritage Canal Belt
Our boat trip includes a small visit to the famous UNESCO World Heritage canal belt. Where we’ll explore the picturesque Reguliersgracht, also known as the “Seven Bridges Canal,” offering one of Amsterdam’s most stunning views. The boat cruise concludes along the Prinsengracht as we head back to the Amstel River. Here, you’ll see unique houseboats and get a glimpse of the locals’ intriguing way of living.
Iconic Sights and Landmarks
During the boat ride, you’ll see many of Amsterdam’s famous landmarks, including the Amstel River with its iconic Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) and the popular “Dancing Houses.” Additional highlights include Waterlooplein, Zuiderkerk, Munttoren, the Red Light District, Oude Kerk, de Waag, Montelbaanstoren, Sluiswachtershuisje, Nemo, Maritime Museum, Wertheimpark, Hortus Botanicus and the picturesque Seven Bridges Canal.
